The surf-Festival is an exhibition on the beach for surfers, ocean
enthusiasts and beach culture lovers of all kind. 40 Exhibitors put their
latest Windsurf-, SUP- and Surf-equipment on display and anybody can come
and test it for free for a period of 4 day.
The festival atmosphere is driven by live music, beach parties and amateur
regattas which anybody can easily attend. Exhibitors will inform you of the
latest developments in the sport and professional athletes are happy to
talk to you and give autographs. We run a beachcamp right next to the
festival were surfers can camp in their vans, tents or whatever they like
for a fair festival price.. The surf movie cinema, a party tent and bunch
of healthy food stands are located right next to the camp.
Traditionally the festival takes place over Ascension day. The
surf-Festival has been organised yearly since 2002 in Neustadt in
Pelzerhaken on the Baltic sea about one hour by car away from Hamburg in
northern Germany.

HOW DO I TEST?:
Testing is easy and for anybody from age 8- to 88. The only think you need
is a valid passport or drivers licence and you will have to register at the
testcenter tent on the beach prior to testing. Here you will pick up your
personal testcard in trade with your passport. The testcard you have to
give to any of the exhibitors for the period of testing. Exhibitors will
give you inside information on the best equipment available for you
personal pleasure. If your equipment comes back without damage, the
exhibitor will stamp the testcard and you are free to go to the next water
sport exhibitor of your choice. If you are under the age of 18, sorry we
need a paper from your parents allowing you to test.
HOW CAN I BECOME EXHIBITOR?
Becoming an exhibitor is easy and possible with a small budget. You must
agree not to destroy the environment or sell equipment or Food on Location.
We love to go to surfshops and have a chat, so this festival is here to
support not to destroy surf shops. Exhibitors can only sell promotion
articles of any kind (So put your brand Logo on Caps, Beanies and T-Shirts
and bring it to the people). Renting space starts at € 50 per m?. for
